Report of Saturday April 28th Events

Greetings ZANE community!

We would like to thank everyone who participated and/or supported last weekend’s events: A meet & greet with Former President R. Banda at Boston University and A Zambian Cultural Night event with Communities Without Borders in Newton MA.

Meet & Greet: The former President was obliged and happy to meet with the Zambian community from within New England. This informal meeting, at the African Presidential Center at BU offered a very personable time with our former President and all in attendance. To view pictures of this event please click here.

Zambian Cultural Night: Communities Without Borders and the Zambian Association of New England collaborated in a unique fashion to host this wonderful event. This event showcased the Zambian culture in a variety of ways; from delicious Zambian food to a lot of fun Zambian songs, dances, stories etc. A number of activities manned by fellow Zambians were lined up.

The event also included videos such as ‘Zambia Let’s Explore’ and the ‘Chipolopolo African Champions 2012 – Road to Victory!’.

We would like to report that both events were successful. And again, we thank you all for your support always.
